156. The Albion, South Norwood.
A good post-beer festival drinking pub and home pub of Crystal Palace fans! Not overwhelmingly aley but still got a couple of good'ns in the bag to wash the festival beer down. Served by a top Welshman.
Beers:
Battle Brewery Abbey Ale - clear, amber, light medium bodied, sweet finish, smooth throughout, texture all at the front, not largely flavoursome
Caledonian Coast to Coast Pale Ale - clear, brown, good head, hoppy, bitter aroma, cold, fairly flat, smooth.
A truly beery odyssey by two lads from London.
The Story: It was a cold wet Wednesday night on Fifa, and two thirsty lads posed a question - how many pubs are there in London? According to Google - c7000, which brought about another question - how many can we visit before we die?
The Objective: to visit as many pubs as possible whilst trying a unique beer each per pub.
Each beer and pub sampled will be uniquely logged and judged.
Bottoms up! 🍻
