Harpers Brewing Co. Golden Crown - more golden than Michael Phelps neck, fizzy, clear, first class, bit of a zip, probably a bit too bitter for M, medium bodied, tropical and hoppy without being full of flavour.
Harpers Brewing Co. Medusa Ruby Red Ale - dark with a red tint, laced with the blood of Medusa's victims, sweet aroma, blueberry, redcurrents, no fizz, thick like blood, occupies the tongue, latent bubbles, long-tailed, interesting, beguiling, rich.
Rothaus Tannenzäpfle - light coloured, light fizz at front, honey and sweet wine aroma, lightly textured, lovely, desserty, tickling the tongue, a top top beer.
Siris Microbrewery Voreia Stout - dark, very dark, woody aroma, hazelnut, bubbly sweetness at the front of the tongue, mahogany texture, deep and rich, bitter roasted coffee towards the rear of the tongue, very much worth it.
